About the role
We are looking for a Working Student to join our Treasury team at our modern Head Office in Venlo, near the German border in the Netherlands. In this role, you will provide daily support to the Treasury team by assisting in various processes. This opportunity is ideal for someone currently pursuing studies in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and looking to gain hands-on experience.
The position is available for several months, giving you the chance to learn about Treasury operations while contributing to the team's efficiency in a supportive role.
What you will do
- Provide general support to the Treasury team, assisting with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Help with processing and organizing payments and financial documents.
- Assist in data entry, documentation, and updating internal systems.
- Support the reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy in records.
- Assist team members in addressing routine queries from internal stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks that occur.
About you
To succeed in this role, you should be a motivated student with an interest in gaining practical experience in a corporate treasury environment.
Note: This role is based on-site at our head office in Sevenum. Due to limited public transportation options, we are seeking candidates who live within a 40 km radius. Remote work is not available for this position.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (no need for extensive work experience).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic Excel functions and a willingness to learn accounting software.
- Good communication skills, with proficiency in English (spoken and written); German or Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Must be a citizen of an EU member country or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
