About the role
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainability at Redcare Pharmacy. As the Director of Sustainable Development (m/f/d), you will lead a team of dedicated professionals while driving strategic initiatives that impact our entire organization. Your role goes beyond operational management — you’ll have a platform to influence senior leadership, steer cross-departmental projects, and develop processes that position Redcare Pharmacy as a sustainability leader in the e-pharmacy sector.
About your tasks
- Shape our sustainability strategy: Lead the development of our overarching sustainability strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and upcoming regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD).
- Lead the materiality analysis: Oversee and enhance our double materiality assessment by integrating stakeholder perspectives and driving data-driven risk evaluations.
- Steer compliance and reporting: Take ownership of sustainability disclosures in our annual report and coordinate audit processes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive governance and performance tracking: Develop and present dashboards that provide insights on progress toward sustainability goals, linking them to key business metrics.
- Inspire change and innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving new processes, supporting change initiatives, and identifying opportunities for sustainable development.
About you
- Proven experience in sustainability leadership: You have successfully managed teams, projects, and cross-departmental initiatives in sustainability, ideally within corporate or consulting environments.
- Strategic thinker with compliance know-how: You have a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks like CSRD and a proactive approach to aligning them with business goals.
- Data-driven and outcome-oriented: You excel at transforming complex data into clear, impactful insights that inform decision-making at all levels of an organization.
- Inspiring leader and changemaker: Your leadership style empowers others, and you are passionate about driving meaningful change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- You speak fluent English, German knowledge skills are a plus.
