About the role 

Join the Redcare Pharmacy Category Management team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and forward-thinking e-commerce company! With flat hierarchies and a dynamic work environment, you’ll contribute meaningfully to the optimization of our product assortment and digital merchandising in the German online shop. 

We are looking for a Working Student Category Management (m/f/d) focused on the German market with strong Excel skills and an interest in e-commerce, data, and healthcare. This role is ideal for students in the final stages of their studies who want to actively support a growing team while building valuable experience in digital category management. 

About your tasks 

• You will support our Category Management in the varied daily business/tasks

• You will be responsible for the onboarding and categorization of new products in our German online shop

• You will select relevant products for newsletters, banners, and other promotional formats

• You will collaborate on category presentation and performance optimization projects

• You will create and maintain reports, perform market and assortment analyses, and conduct competitive benchmarking

• You will support the team in coordinating onsite promotions and liaising with the Advertising Category Manager

• You will provide administrative support, such as organizing meetings, maintaining documentation in Confluence, and preparing presentations

About you 

• You are currently studying Economics, eCommerce, or a similar field 

• You are available for a 1-year student contract, ideally 20 hours per week 

• You have strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables) 

• You are motivated, analytical, and have a passion for numbers 

• You have prior working experience (e.g., internships or working student roles) 

• You are preferably in the last two semesters of your studies 

• You speak fluent German and English 

• Ideally, you have worked in e-commerce, pharma, or in category management 

• A background in data handling or analysis is a plus
