About the role:

As Senior Category Manager Italy (m/f/d), you will play a key role in shaping and driving the category management strategy for the Italian market. With a strong market presence and significant growth potential, you’ll have the opportunity to further develop and optimize our product portfolio. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll focus on maximizing category performance while leading and mentoring other Category Managers dedicated to Italy.

About your tasks

• Manage and optimize the product portfolio, developing assortment and market positioning strategies
• Ensure category targets are met, improving product presentation with a customer-centric approach
• Define and manage key performance targets in collaboration with different stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and continuous optimization of category performance
• Oversee strategic and operational projects, collaborating with different departments to enhance category performance
• Monitor and analyze market trends to refine and adapt category strategies
• Lead and develop the Category Management team for Italy, providing strategic direction and support

About you

• Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong experience (min. 5 years) in Category Management, experience in e-commerce
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, constantly changing environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at various organizational levels, in Italian as well as English
• (At least first) Professional leadership experience
• You can work remotely a lot if you like, but are able and willing to come to our office in either Berlin or Cologne several days a month
