SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE: on All Channels at Home.

The online pharmacy listed on the stock exchange runs a TV campaign in three European countries.

 – the handy, self-explanatory claim of SHOP APOTHEKE is becoming a familiar tune to the TV audience. Three different spots of the online pharmacy run on a total of ten German TV programs. The aim is to further expand more the brand presence of the leading online provider focused on non-prescription medications (OTC) as well as beauty and care products. The TV campaign underlines the market significance of SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE, which was successfully launched on the stock market in October last year. In addition to popular commercial stations - including RTL, SAT1, VOX and N24 – the national television network ARD is also part of the media strategy for the first time.

This investment in brand communications pays off: from the beginning of the year to mid-February 2017, SHOP APOTHEKE reached net 86 per cent of the core target groups. This includes, in particular, consumers between the age of 25 and 55. An additional incentive for direct online response is the promise of a new customer discount of 5 Euros. More than 600 million contacts between viewers and the brand have already been generated via the TV spots. Media planners expect to reach 1 billion contacts in Germany by the end of the campaign.

As well as in Germany the Belgium and Austria web shops of SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE are presenting themselves on the TV screens as the leading brand for the online purchase of OTC and personal care and beauty products. In Belgium the spots are broadcasted under the brand FARMALINE which was acquired last year. The SHOP APOTHEKE family, successfully introduced with the first TV campaign in 2012, also matches perfectly into the European neighborhood. The friendly family manager who is in the focus is ordering online products for the health and well-being of her family. The current TV campaign is based on the successfully established brand character of SHOP APOTHEKE – 

"My World of Health – Self-medication at its best"

Headquartered in Venlo (Netherlands), SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE also has an administration site for its sales and marketing units in Cologne (Germany) and an international service center in Tongeren, Belgium. The online pharmacy has been listed on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since 13 October 2016.
