SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE: Strong sales growth also in May reaffirms guidance.

The company benefits from general shift to online OTC purchases.

Approximately eight months after the successful IPO, SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE N.V., the leading European OTC online pharmacy, has further increased the number of active customers to 2.2 million. As a result of new customer growth, sales growth in Germany and in the international markets has accelerated since the IPO. The provisional month-end May again shows an increase at the upper end of the forecast.

So SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE the fastest growing OTC online pharmacy in Europe. The company is already active in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain. Thereby it has a unique international presence in the relevant European markets. The shops in the individual countries have been tailored to the different local needs and wishes of the customers, also containing country-specific assortments and products.

Not only for customers, but also for industry insiders, SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE is the clear number one among the online pharmacies. The company recently became the winner in the online pharmacy survey of the 14th SEMPORA Market Study, which takes the independent assessment by pharmaceutical companies into account. SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE reached this top position for the fifth time in a row.

The online pharmacy has been listed on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since 13 October 2016.
