Our HOLISTIC approach
Because we care.
Through our core business as a pharmacy we create positive social impact for people and our society: Redcare is dedicated to improving access to the right medication and digital pharmaceutical services, enabling people to take care of their health in the best way possible.
We believe that true health goes beyond medical products and pharmaceutical services. It also includes the wellbeing of the planet for a sustainable future.
We have defined clear goals, guidelines and responsibilities for the sustainability topics most relevant to our business model to further develop and expand our existing sustainability performance.

governance
How we drive sustainability.
We view sustainability as a way to safeguard the future. That is why sustainable action is part of Redcare Pharmacy's corporate strategy.
Highest priority.
Overall responsibility for sustainability lies with the CEO of Redcare Pharmacy to whom the Sustainability department reports directly. Part of the Managing Board’s long-term financial compensation is the sustainability performance in the form of a climate-related KPI.
Joint commitment and combined expertise.
Established in 2025, the Sustainability Steering Committee supports and drives Redcare's overall sustainability strategy, reviewing and evaluating Redcare's progress in executing it.
Our Supervisory Board advises on the development and implementation of the strategy and also monitors it.

TRANSPARENCY
Strategic alignment with global standards.
Our sustainability strategy focuses on the most important sustainability topics for Redcare, aligning with the concept of double materiality and the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This makes our sustainability efforts both measurable and internationally comparable.
Since we started reporting in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) in 2024, we have been emphasizing our commitment to maximizing the positive impact of our business activities along the entire value chain while minimizing negative environmental impacts as much as possible.

PROACTIVITY
Integrated reporting at a higher level.
Since 2024, we have been reporting in accordance with the newly-introduced ESRS.
This move has raised our sustainability commitment to a new level.
The reporting was preceded by an extensive, multi-stage process to identify the impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs) of our business activities, which took into account the entire value chain, including upstream and downstream activities.
This much more detailed approach has already proven its worth in the identification and implementation of our sustainability measures.
